Numeros is a fully scalable modern billing engine capable of handling innovative charging matrixes as well the traditional volume based products.

Numeros performs the heavy lifting for high volume of usage – Wholesale and Retail billing are separate and distinct to provide you with the flexibility you require.

Wholesale Billing

Wholesale Activator's wholesale billing module receives feeds from mediation to allocate the billable records to the correct wholesale accounts. Primary purpose of wholesale billing is to allow communications providers to operate as a Reseller in their own right. It's a volume system mostly dealing with rating and servicing Reseller accounts. One or more Wholesale accounts usually belong to your Retail Division. The outputs (usage, one-off and rentals) are fed upstream to become inputs to Retail billing. It is the backbone of charging at a wholesale level, taking outputs from mediation and its various modules to group these under large wholesale accounts.

For a Network provider this is the wholesale division where all events data is collated and priced for onward billing. In the case of a Reseller business this enables you to become a virtual service provider with your own Reseller customers. Daily and monthly CDR, Rental and one off charges are delivered to Resellers via SFTP and ebilling. If you, however, only have Retail customers then you don't require this module as our Numeros Retail module will suffice.

Retail Billing

The main objective of retail billing is to provide sophisticated usage rating and allow Bundling of multiple Converged Services. Retail billing is the enabler for multi-play convergence such as Double, Triple and Quadruple play providing one package containing a mix of voice, broadband, mobile and energy products. Inputs of the billable events can come from Wholesale billing or directly from mediation depending on your business dynamics.Only your Billing team, or nominated individuals are granted access to the billing module to ensure strict pricing control.

Manipulation of incoming mediated data takes place here, transforming raw transactions into consumer products such as double-play offerings in a controlled manner. Upstream and downstream systems communicate with Numeros transparently to provide the 360 degree billing view to your business as well as your customers. A comprehensive setup of APIs exists within Numeros to allow integration with 3rd party systems such as salesforce.com, SAP, Provisioning and CRM systems.
